Woodwind Instrument is not for me

September 28th, 2016

I thought of learning woodwind Instrument after I know how to play string instruments  like guitar and banjo .I said to myself that these would actually be perfect for an aspiring musician like me. Honestly, its so easy to say than done but I find it hard to learn to play trumpets, flutes and cornets while starting out. I really wondered why my son find it so easy to learn, maybe because he is patient enough with practicing these instrument. He is love music so much that he is serious with his craft. He even has this  hagerty silver polish to clean all his gadgets and musical instrument. Maybe, he got this from his father who is a musician himself. My son is already in his tweenties and his love of music and musical instruments continous to grow.

My Black Friday Shopping Spree in Los Angeles

July 2nd, 2016

Thank God it was November when we went to the US last year. Me and my husband was so excited not only because it was our first time to set foot in an american soil but also because as a fashion blogger, I will finally experience Black Friday which I have been blogging for many years already.

Our USA trip is full of fun !!! There were countless of first time experiences but the most memorable one was our Black Friday shopping-spree which took us 24 hours hopping from one shopping center to another from downtown Los Angeles, to Sta. Monica, Glendale and San Pedro.

Shopping has always been a part of everyone’s life and in America people will go crazy on Black Friday. Products sold on Black Friday are highly discounted. People flocked in stores with products with price tag almost 80 percent below its standard value. Even music stores were filled with people. My husband who is into music was able to buy a gotoh tuners for 50% less while I got clothes at 75% off.

Below are some of the photos taken during our trip :

The pop music industry is taking on new female pop music artists who are and shaping the world of pop in a whole new way. I saw a lot of new female band group in the USA, UK and Asia. Lots of Pop Ladies ( specially the Koreans) who are breaking those boundaries. As the years went by, music has taken a new course.Female music artists are shaping the industry Artists like Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Kesha, and Cristina Aguilerra are just some of the female music artists who are taking the music world by storm and at the same time shaping the entire pop culture around their style of sound. They are setting up a new path for pop and they are leading young future new female pop music artists in the process.

With this more and more music gadgets were created like    xlr female to suit the needs of female singers and instrumentalist.  See those pink guitars and drums from the Korean Pop Artist ?  They look cute !!! That’s why a lot of girls went into gaga with these new female artist. Are you one of them ?

Music has always played a major part of my life

January 12th, 2016

From the earliest age I can remember classical and contemporary music constantly playing in our home. As children ( me and my from elder brothers )  used to give singing recitals in church  – especially during Christmas times!! I am grateful for the exposure our parents influenced  us. I could remember my Dad in his alto saxophone music  harmonica and acoustic guitar playing.

Two of my brothers choose the path to become professional  music band player. One plays the bass guitar and the other the lead guitar of  the Vendetta Band. They  went from one country to another to play in hotels and entertainment establishment.

What about me ?  I was active with my singing and guitar playing while in high school. College was a  big challenge being an academic scholar, so I set aside my music  and concentrate on my studies.

How about you? Whats the impact of music in your life ?

First taste of winter in the US!

December 12th, 2015

Me and my hubby spent a month travelling in the US, which is why there have been zero postings here. Apologies! I realized that this hasn’t been a very bloggy year for me. I have been very busy with lots of things. Thank God I auto-charge my Google domain and my website hosting… thus the reason why this blog site is still alive. Anyway, I am renewing my vow to update this site regularly come 2016… LOL!

Let me start my journey with Cozy Winters Reviews .

Shortly after our arrival, we were greeted by the bright morning sight of Los Angeles. Our outfit then was quite warm – a polo shirt and a light jacket. My sister’s place is in Capitol Drive, San Pedro which is close to the beach is warmer than we expected.

Two days after we went to San Diego, California to attend the International Convention of Real Estate Association. Winter started early  in Sand Diego. As soon as we got our from the car, I felt my whole body trembling. Whew! This is it! It was  lunchtime then. Good that my sis gave us  winter clothes such as  trench coat , scarf and thermal shirts and legging. It was really freezing cold that I consumed more than 10 cups of coffee during the convention…LOL!

Our  Las Vegas and San Francisco trip  winter experience were different. I will post how we survived walking down the strip  with beanie and why  we spent only 5 minutes  the twin peak!!

For now here’s some photos in San Diego, CA :
