Pacquiao Vs Mayweather

November 17th, 2010
The event was covered worldwide. The place, Cowboy Stadium was packed with more than forty one thousand (41,000) plus spectators. From Europe to the Americas and to Asia, people of all kinds flocked to that place to witness this once-in-a-lifetime event. I’m referring to the Pacquiao-Margarito fight last November 13, 2010. This was supposed to be the deciding moment of the pound-for-pound king to retire or consider another fight. This is going to be the biggest, the grandest in boxing history. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao would face his last nemesis, Floyd Mayweather. It’s a roller coaster of a ride towards getting both parties to agree and sign for a fight. But I believe it would happen. The 8th wonder of the world (8 Championship belts in 8 different divisions) against the one who believes he’s the best.

Well so much for that, I will make some predictions on my own not about the mega fight of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao but of what happens in that place in Texas before, during and after the fight. I believe you would see different classes of people from boxing enthusiasts, businessmen, fans of both fighters and of course gamblers. Yes, people would take every opportunity, every chance of making money the easy way like playing on slot machines. I am sure most of the people inside the Cowboy Stadium in one way or another bet during the fight. According to the news, 85% bet for Manny Pacquiao while only 15% for Margarito. Here in our country, who will win was no longer the question but on what round Manny will knock-out Margarito. I posted in my other blog asking the same question and there were many bloggers who commented and shared their views but none of them got the correct prediction. Margarito lasted until the 12th round but with a swollen and slit face. Congratulations Manny! Long live the Philippines.
