Beware and Be Aware of Accutane

Have you heard of the pimple drug Accutane? Well, if you’re in the U.S. you sure would have heard it or even used it. It have been reported to have adverse side effects to its users. Accutane also known as Isotretinoin is a drug prescribed to treat nodular acne. Serious side effects to its users have been reported and documented in the U.S.. It is but right for me to include in this writing these side effects to aware the public if ever they are using this product. Accutane Side effects include:

1. Bowel inflammation that can include diarrhea, severe abdominal pain and even rectal bleeding.
2. Disturbances in vision, headaches and nausea.
3. Irritation of the optic nerve at the back of the eyeballs.
4. Skin rashes, peeling of the soles and palms, and an increased risk to sunburn and other skin infections.
5. Depression, thinning of hair, decreased tolerance to eye contacts and fatigue.

Men and women are both susceptible to these serious side effects that lawsuits are now filed to the company maker of this drug. The most serious of these is birth defects where babies are born with physical deformities and mental retardation.
