The Star-Spangled Banner

May 8th, 2010
When I was a kid I almost memorized all the flags around the world. It stuck on my head until today the different designs and colors of flags… from the different countries of Africa, Asia and Europe. Seeing a nations flag reminds me of my being a Filipino and be proud of it. Every time we celebrate our Independence Day, I see to it a Philippine Flag could be hanged on our front porch or small flags attached to our car’s side mirror could be flown. It is a fitting symbol of once nationality, race, and belief.Next to our nation’s flag, the American Flag fascinates me. I love looking at the thirteen equal horizontal stripes of red alternating with white. The Star-Spangled Banner of 50 stars , I guess is the most well loved and most powerful flag in the whole world. The fourth of July is one event I wouldn’t miss to watch on cable TV. I love to watch their colorful parades, amazing fireworks and other mode of celebration. Now that the 4th of July is coming, people would be flocking toflag store for various parties and fun filled activities. Valley Forge Flags once again will be in demand during this day. I can not wait to see this event on TV this July.
